The Childrens Mercy Hospital - Bed Tower Facility
The
Childrens Mercy Hospital is a 160 bed pediatric hospital located in downtown
Kansas City. The Bed Tower facility opened to patients in January of 1997.
Consisting of seven floors, the facility is a state of the art pediatric care
center providing pediatric and neonatal intensive care as well as inpatient
services to children in western Missouri and eastern Kansas. This project
called for the installation of a structured cabling system and backbone technology
to support 100 Mbps to the desktop and OC3 155Mbps ATM in the backbone.

Allstate
Insurance Company has for the past five years been upgrading their claims
office facilities from a coaxial based mainframe computer system to client
server pc based systems. Data Link has installed category 5 in several claims
and legal offices throughout the Midwest including offices in Tulsa and Oklahoma
City. The latest project located at 9225 Indian Creek Pkwy involved the installation
of 430 category five drops among two floors of the facility in Corporate Woods.
Childrens
Mercy South Campus is located at I-435 and Nall in Overland Park, Kansas.
The East Wing expansion was completed in January of 2004. The facility houses
both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care services. The project called
for the installation of a Systimax Solutions Gigaspeed Copper Structured Cabling
System and Systimax Lazerspeed/Teraspeed Fiber Optic Backbone.
